UPDATE: The Kiwanis Club of Gainesville has resumed our weekly, in-person luncheon meetings in the Banquet Hall at First Baptist Church. For those who cannot attend in-person, we will also broacast our weekly meetings and programs on Zoom. Club members will receive the Zoom link each week by email. Others who wish to attend may email one of the officers listed on the home page to receive the link for that week's Zoom meeting. The link will be different each week for security purposes.
At Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, we are enjoying meeting in-person. Lunch at 12:00 noon and program at 12:30 p.m.
While we are excited to be able to get together again, the health and safety of you, our members, is paramount. So please know that if you are not comfortable in coming back just yet, we will certainly understand.
There will be a few changes in the way we meet:
1) Food. Please do not plan to attend earlier than 12:00 noon as the food will be served to us, cafeteria style, and will not be ready until then. For at least the time being, we will not be able to serve ourselves.
2) Kiwanis International and First Baptist Church have asked us to follow some safety rules. During the meeting, with the exception of while eating, we must wear a mask. The meeting room is set up to allow us to social distance. We ask that you please adhere to these simple rules to protect our members and guests, the serving staff and Church personnel.
** If Members have any ideas for future programs or potential guests, please contact Cindy Wilson at email@example.com or 770-654-2321. Thanks!
